Bitcoin has seen its fair share critics and supporters in the financial sector. Although many traditional investors and bankers have been cautious about bitcoin, some have welcomed it openly and seen its potential to change the way money is exchanged and managed.

A look at the top Bitcoin advocates ($BTC) from the investment and banking sectors can give you a better understanding of how the cryptocurrency industry is changing the financial world.

Mike Novogratz

Mike Novogratz, a former hedge fund manager, is a well-known cryptocurrency advocate. As a Goldman Sachs partner in the risk arbitrage section, he later became a manager of hedge funds at Fortress Investment Group where he helped to build one the most important macro funds in the world.

Morgan Creek Digital is his co-founder, partner and general partner. Full Tilt Capital is his venture capital firm. He was previously an institutional salesperson for BlackRock, the largest investment management firm in the world.

He is well-known for his strong support of Bitcoin as an inflation hedge and as a store value. Pompliano is a regular speaker at conferences and events and is frequently featured in media discussions about the future of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. Many consider him to be a leading expert on the intersection between finance and cryptocurrency.

Paul Tudor Jones

Paul Tudor Jones, an American hedge fund manager and investor, is his name. Tudor Investment Corporation is Jones’ private investment company. It focuses on macroeconomic strategies worldwide and invests in currencies, bonds and equities. Jones is regarded as one of the most successful hedge-fund managers and is well-known for his ability generate strong returns for investors.

Jones stated that cryptocurrencies would be ” at an a value much greater than what we are currently.”


“I have always had a small amount [of Bitcoin]… In a period where there’s too many money, to much fiscal spend, something like crypto (specifically Bitcoin and Ethereum) that will have value at some time.”

These are just some of the many Bitcoin advocates in the investment and banking space. Although some traditional financial institutions are skeptical about the cryptocurrency, their supporters believe it can revolutionize finance and change how we view money and investments.
