The last few months have seen a rise in ads circulating the internet which claims that several well-known tv shows have endorsed bitcoin as a viable cryptocurrency to invest in. We grew curious and decided to do some investigating ourselves. In the next few paragraphs, we will get to understand how one of the biggest Bitcoin scams involving the This Morning TV show and Bitcoin Revolution went down.

This Morning is a highly-reputable British TV show has been around for just over three decades and throughout its existence, it has gained a loyal fanbase that grows weekly. This Morning has built a sterling reputation over the years. It comes as no surprise that rumours have been circulating reporting that This Morning has endorsed Bitcoin as a viable asset class and profitable investment. Being endorsed by This Morning would mean that Bitcoin gained popularity and buy-in overnight. We could not find any airing of the show where Bitcoin or any of the Bitcoin technologies have been endorsed. We cannot solidify the claim that Bitcoin has ever been endorsed by This Morning.

These news outlets combine different, but viral keywords to create clickbait headlines.
Why Are These Fake Endorsements in the Media?
It is no secret that fame merits attention, and therein lurks controversy. Controversial stories attract the most attention both from news breakers, writers and affiliate marketers too. This is possibly why we are seeing so much media attention and rumours making the rounds regarding This Morning, its presenters and Bitcoin endorsements. We did some more digging and found that most of these fake news sites are owned by third-party-marketers, rather than from Bitcoin or Bitcoin evolution itself.
