Netgear, an American computer networking company, has partnered with SuperRare to feature non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on its Meural digital display platform. The integration will strengthen their shared vision of creating new ways of interacting with digital art, culture and collection.
In a July 30th NoticeThe computer networking company confirmed the successful partnership with the Super Rare NFT marketplace to showcase its digital collectibles on the Meural digital display platform.
Founded in 2018, SuperRare is a pioneering, curated digital art marketplace built on the Ethereum blockchain. The SuperRare NFT Marketplace is known for giving artists the ability to take control of their digital artworks in new ways. SuperRare expects to continue to evolve into a community-led network with its curatorial vision.
In this context, NETGEAR will leverage the capabilities of the Super Rare NFT marketplace to reshape the future of decentralized curation, community organization and artist sponsorship. The recent integration with Super Rare DAO now marks the beginning of a new era for Netgear.
Since 1996, NETGEAR has pioneered the advancement of computer networking technologies for homes, businesses and service providers to improve the lives of developers. In 2018, the computer networking company acquired its digital display platform, Meural, to attract new audiences to digital art while creating additional revenue streams for artists.
NETGEAR will now leverage its digital display platform to showcase SuperRare NFT digital collectibles. While commenting on the new integration, Poppy Simpson, senior product and content manager at Netgear, noted:
“By introducing digital scarcity to art and collectibles, NFTs and blockchain technology have brought new economic and creative powers to digital artists. NETGEAR supports this exciting development and is committed to working with developers, collectors and enthusiasts to create a licensing model that reflects their interests.”
On the other hand, John Crain, the co-founder of SuperRare, expressed his excitement about the new integration, noting:
“We are very excited to have Netgear join the SuperRare DAO. We believe their expertise in display technology development, content licensing and art streaming will help us move forward as we continue to build an open and equitable future for digital art.”
As part of the new integration, SuperRare will feature Meural in its pop-up gallery, bringing together well-known NFT artists and the larger CryptoArt community. The NFT project officially starts on August 28th.
