SmartGoldenFx is a centralized cryptocurrency exchange, run by the BHM Services OU company registered and headquartered in Cyprus. SmartGoldenFx exchange was launched in around September 2018 and became one of the several cryptocurrency trading venues, situated in the crypto capital of the Eastern Mediterranean.

SmartGoldenFx website contain plenty of marketing information, such as а proclaimed “processing speed of up to 10 000 trades per second and 1 000 000 TCP connections”, 24/7 support in a variety of languages (English, Mandarin, Japanese, Russian, Indonesian, Spanish, German) or buzzwords like “next-generation cryptocurrency exchange.”

As far as we can tell, US-investors can trade with SmartGoldenFx. Any US-investors interested in trading with SmartGoldenFx should in any event form their own opinion on any issues arising from their citizenship or residency.

SmartGoldenFx exchange promotes four things in particular as reasons to choose SmartGoldenFx as your trading platform. 

First off, it has multi-currency support, meaning that you can trade a lot of different cryptocurrencies here. It is easy to verify this statement and declare that it is true. SmartGoldenFx does indeed provide support for a large number of cryptocurrencies. 

Second, SmartGoldenFx has high liquidity. 

Third, the platform provides 24 hour customer service 7 days a week. Naturally, this is very important to its user base. 

Fourth and finally, SmartGoldenFx platform promotes that it is “secure and steady”. All of the promoted advantages are things that we deem very important and we applaud SmartGoldenFx for having them all.

At the time of this writing, SmartGoldenFx hasn’t reported suffering any hacks or malicious activities.

Liquidity
SmartGoldenFx has a 24 hour trading volume at the date of first writing this review. The 24 hour trading volume at this date was approx. USD 21 million. On the date of last updating this review (26 November 2019), SmartGoldenFx trading volume had absolutely sky-rocketed compared to when this post was previously published. This increase  is very impressive.

Leverage Trading
SmartGoldenFx exchange has also announced that they will “soon” (statement made on 14 May 2019) launch its function of leverage trading. We’re assuming that this will correspond to the leveraged trading functionality that many other trading platforms have, but we will follow up and update here as soon as it has been made public. There will also be a Mock leverage Trading-function where you can practice leverage trading for free but without the risk of losing any actual assets.

SmartGoldenFx Trading View
Different exchanges have different trading views. And there is no “this overview is the best”-view. You should yourself determine which trading view that suits you the best. What the views normally have in common is that they all show the order book or at least part of the order book, a price chart of the chosen cryptocurrency and order history. They normally also have buy and sell-boxes. Before you choose an exchange, try to have a look at the trading view so that you can ascertain that it feels right to you.

SmartGoldenFx Trading fees

SmartGoldenFxdoesn’t charge different fees between takers and makers. Their fee model is instead a “flat fee model”. SmartGoldenFx flat fees are 0.10%, which is below the global industry average (arguably around 0.25%). 

SmartGoldenFx Withdrawal fees
When withdrawing Bitcoin or any other asset, SmartGoldenFx charges a one time withdrawal fee. This is in line with industry average, albeit slightly on the high end.
